Check out the PlayStation 5 Slim Edition that a YouTuber built before Sony!
Sony often launches slimmer variants of their flagship consoles a few years after the launch of the original console, as gamers are likely aware. If history is any indication, Sony’s PlayStation 5, which launched in September 2020, may receive the same treatment. The issue with this is that it will probably take some time before it appears on store shelves. A YouTuber has already modified a PS5 to create a slimmer version as the general public waits for Sony to introduce the PlayStation 5 Slim.
PlayStation 5 Slim Edition
A 30-minute video showcasing what is apparently the first PlayStation 5 Slim in the world has been posted by Matthew Perks, better known for his YouTube channel DIY Perks. With the help of this initiative, Perks was able to reduce the console’s size from about four inches to under an inch.
Perks claims that in order to make the PlayStation 5 slim, the core PS5 components had to be enclosed in a copper frame, and the power supply and external cooling system had to be connected to the main board. Even if some could counter that the cooling system increases the size externally and defeats the goal of having a small PS5, this is still an intriguing proof of concept.
Although it was initially a failure, the specially designed water cooling system uses copper sheeting and eventually led to temperature improvements in comparison to the PS5. The temperatures of the RAM and VRM both decreased.
The video guides you through each stage of the PS5 Slim mod process, including potential hazards and early difficulties. You can watch the entire procedure in the video below, or you may follow the steps to make your own PS5 Slim.

BMPS is a major league in the world of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Here, pro teams from across India compete for big prizes. Teams that have shown skill in past tournaments and those loved by fans might get the chance to play in BMPS’s second season.
This announcement follows the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. That event wrapped up on October 15 with a big prize pool. Now, Krafton is gearing up for BMPS 2023. This tournament is going to be big in India, especially since the ban on such events was lifted.

In the last season of BMPS, the open qualifier happened first in the name of the tournament which was Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge 2022. After several rounds, the best 32 teams from these qualifiers got to play against 32 teams that were invited directly. From these, 24 teams made it to the first season of BMPS. Team Soul came out on top, and their player Goblin was named the most valuable player (MVP).
Now let’s wait for the official announcement by Krafton about dates, format, and how the tournament is going to happen.
