Get Always on Display on any Android device (Oneplus Devices).
Always On Display (AOD) is a smartphone feature that shows limited information while the phone is in sleep mode.On some Android phones, the feature is also called Ambient Display.
Instead of the notification LED blinking to serve as an indicator for any incoming messages or notifications which the user may need to check out, an Always On Display shows the time, date and battery status by default, but can be configured to also show various types of notifications as they arrive or screensavers.
The Always On Display feature does consume energy, but now android phones are built with AMOLED screens that turn off black pixels. That means the Always on Display won’t suck up a ton of battery all day.
The “Always on Display” made its Android debut on the Samsung Galaxy S7 in 2016. Now,almost all android phones comes with this feature. If your device has OLED, you should give it a try.

With the increasing demand and popularity of “Always on Display”,Oneplus finally brings the AOD feature to its smartphones. It was a highly requested feature from OnePlus owners and back in March,Oneplus confirmed the arrival of AOD in its upcoming devices.
On OnePlus Community forum, the company reveals that the development of AOD feature will begin in June, while the closed and open beta testing has been scheduled for August/ September.
