Recently, OnePlus 7T received 960fps slow-motion video recording option through OxygenOS open beta 3 update.Oneplus used software-based frame interpolation technique through which they increase the number of frames generated by the camera to 960fps.

XDA Senior Member elmarian756 has successfully enabled 960fps slow-motion on the OnePlus 7 Pro.He also unlocked the macro mode on the Oneplus 7 Pro with a similar modification.

XDA Senior Member elmarian756 enabled the 960fps slow-motion recording on the OnePlus 7 Pro by modifying the CameraInfo_0.xml and the CameraInfo_5.xml preferences files of the stock camera app and adding a new string called Video960FpsSizes with the value 1280x720.

After saving the new values and re-launching the camera,we will find a third 960fps option on slow-motion mode.

To enable macro mode,we need to toggle the value of the IsUWMacroSupported variable inside the CameraInfo_3.xml from false to true.This particular experiment was made by another XDA Senior Member called Gohan040.
