How to Restore Widevine L1 certificate on Oneplus Smartphone – Restore Widevine L1.

What is Widevine?

Google Widevine DRM is pre-integrated with Google Chrome, Chromium, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, Android mobile, STBs, and smart TVs. Licensing of UHD and early window content is enabled through integration with the hardware security and media capabilities of the device.

Widevine is also the default DRM for Android TV Operator Tier, which means operators can go to market without complex DRM integrations. Note that this is not true for the “other Android TV”, based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), which can use other DRMs than Widevine but may require more integration and testing.

Adaptive bitrate streaming formats that can be used with Google’s Widevine DRM include MPEG-DASH, Common Media Application Format (CMAF), and HLS. Support for standards-based Common Encryption (CENC; ISO/IEC 23001-7:2016) offers the advantage that a single protected file-set can be streamed to multiple devices, regardless of the DRM system they support, eliminating the need to create and store multiple file-sets.

Nothing Phone (3) Leak Reveals Camera, Battery, and Charging Specs

Nothing Phone 3 glyph matrix

A new leak has revealed some exciting details about the upcoming Nothing Phone (3). While the phone’s full design is still a mystery, the leaked images suggest that the rear cameras will be placed in a triangle shape near the top of the back panel, next to the updated Glyph Matrix lights.

Nothing Phone (3) Rumored Specs

Unlike the Nothing Phone (2), which had a design similar to the iPhone 16, the Nothing Phone (3) is expected to feature an extra rear camera. This could include a 3x periscope zoom lens, similar to the one seen in the Phone (3a) Pro earlier this year. The other two cameras are likely wide and ultrawide lenses, both using 50MP sensors. On the front, the Phone (3) might be the first in the series to come with a 50MP selfie camera.

The display is expected to stay the same size at 6.7 inches but may offer better detail and smoother performance thanks to a 1.5K resolution upgrade. The device might also support faster charging with 100W USB-C charging while keeping wireless and reverse wireless charging features from the Phone (2).

However, there may be some letdowns. The Nothing Phone (3) is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 this time instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The battery is also said to be 5150 mAh, which is smaller compared to what other 2025 smartphones might offer. The device is expected to launch with Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15.

Stay tuned for more official details as the launch approaches!

OnePlus Nord 5 Leaked render

OnePlus is all set to launch its next mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 5, in India. According to leaks and reports, the phone could arrive by late June or early July 2025. It is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, which was recently released in China. With powerful specifications and competitive pricing, the Nord 5 aims to make a big impact in the mid-range smartphone market.

In terms of design, the OnePlus Nord 5 might bring a few changes compared to previous models. One major change could be the removal of the popular Alert Slider, a feature OnePlus fans have loved for years. Instead, the company may introduce a new “Plus Key” — a customizable button that users can set to open apps or perform certain actions quickly. This button was first seen on the OnePlus 13s. The phone is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking.

OnePlus Nord 5 Colours

When it comes to colors, the OnePlus Nord 5 is rumored to launch in three attractive options: Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue. These colors are designed to appeal to different tastes, whether you prefer a bold or a more classic look.

As for specifications, the OnePlus Nord 5 is said to feature a large 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and sharp viewing experience. The phone might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage, which is more than enough for most users.

To keep the phone running all day, it could be packed with a 6,700mAh battery, along with support for 100W fast charging. This means users will be able to charge the phone quickly and get back to using it without long waits.

For photography lovers, the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup. It may include a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots and an 8MP ultra-wide lens to capture wider scenes. On the front, users can expect a 16MP selfie camera for clear and detailed self-portraits and video calls.

While OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date, several sources suggest the phone will launch in India between June-end and early July 2025. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates from the company.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be priced between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000, which keeps it in line with the brand’s promise of offering high-quality features at a mid-range price. If the leaks turn out to be accurate, the Nord 5 could be a strong contender in its segment.

With a mix of top-end specs, thoughtful design changes, and competitive pricing, the OnePlus Nord 5 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting mid-range smartphones of 2025.

OnePlus 13s Pink

There’s a lot of excitement around the upcoming OnePlus 13s, especially when it comes to its price and features. If you’re planning to buy a new OnePlus phone, this one might be a perfect choice.

Expected Price in India

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 13s could launch in India at around ₹55,000. This would make it cheaper than the OnePlus 13, but a bit more expensive than the OnePlus 13R. In terms of both pricing and performance, it would sit right between the two models in the OnePlus lineup.

However, OnePlus has not officially confirmed the price or launch date yet, so we’ll need to wait for the final announcement.

Compact Design and Powerful Specs

The OnePlus 13s design has already appeared in some leaked images. The phone is expected to have a 6.32-inch display, making it more compact than its siblings. This could be a great option for users who prefer a phone that is easy to hold and operate with one hand.

Despite its smaller size, the OnePlus 13s is expected to be very powerful. It will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with a dedicated Wi-Fi chip to ensure faster and more stable connectivity. This means it should offer smooth performance for gaming, browsing, or everyday use.

Key Features to Watch

A standout feature on the OnePlus 13s is the new Plus Key, which is a customizable button, much like Apple’s Action Button. Users will be able to assign different functions to it, such as opening the camera or launching a favorite app.

The phone is also expected to feature a 32MP front camera for clear and sharp selfies. On top of that, OnePlus may add AI-powered features that combine on-device intelligence with cloud support to improve the overall experience.

The OnePlus 13s looks like a well-balanced compact flagship phone that could offer the best mix of performance, features, and price. If you’re looking for a powerful yet handy phone in the premium range, this might just be the one to wait for.

OnePlus is hosting a launch event today at 12 PM, where you can learn about its features, improvements, and the new Plus Key.
