Last month, the Chinese smartphone company iQOO introduced its iQOO Neo 6 smartphone in the mid-premium pricing range in its home market. The iQOO Neo 6 is one of the most affordable devices with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU, and it will be available in India. According to Mukul Sharma, the iQOO Neo 6 will be the first Neo series device to be released in India. Although the source has stated that the smartphone’s features will differ from those released in China. In India, the iQOO Neo 6 is expected to cost between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000. The price tag suggests that the phone will be an affordable flagship, competing against Realme, Xiaomi, and OnePlus devices.
iQOO Neo 6: Specifications (China)
The iQOO Neo 6 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels that was released in China. A 120Hz refresh rate, 360hz touch sampling rate, and 397ppi pixel density are all supported by the device. Like its predecessor, the iQOO Neo 5, the device also includes a display chip. This specialized chip ensures that the screen produces true colours and adapts to the environment to provide a better experience in low-light conditions.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage powers the device. The iQOO Neo 6 is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities. The smartphone comes preloaded with Origin OS, which is based on Android 12. An in-display fingerprint scanner, twin speaker setup, a dual linear motor for rich vibration, and noise reduction algorithm are among the device’s other features.
When it comes to the camera module on the device, the iQOO Neo 6 has a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and an f/1.9 aperture. A 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP portrait sensor are also included in the smartphone. A 16MP selfie camera is included on the front of the phone.
