Apple’s Slim iPhone 17 Air Leaks in New Photos

A new leak has revealed photos comparing the upcoming iPhone 17 Air to the iPhone 16 Plus, the model it is expected to replace. The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to launch this September alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Apple is believed to be replacing the iPhone 16 Plus with the new Air model because the Plus versions have not sold well in recent years. The company is hoping that the slimmer design of the iPhone 17 Air will attract more buyers.
The iPhone 17 Air is said to be extremely thin—just 5.5mm or 5.65mm, depending on which leak you believe. However, to achieve this slim design, it may come with a small 2,800 mAh battery, which is even smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s 3,900 mAh battery.
While the smaller battery may be a concern, Apple is expected to offer a battery case that adds extra power—though it might take away from the slim and light feel of the device.
The iPhone 17 Air will reportedly weigh 145 grams, lighter than Samsung’s 163g Galaxy S25 Edge. However, it will have only one rear camera, compared to the two cameras on the Samsung model.
The leaked images give us a first look at how different the iPhone 17 Air will be compared to the model it’s replacing. More details are expected to come out closer to the official launch.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Camera Details Leaked: Not Much Has Changed

New leaks have revealed more details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, and so far, the changes look minor. A report also suggested that the selfie camera would be upgraded and that the phone would keep the same 50 MP main rear camera as last year’s model, the S24 FE.
Now, new information has surfaced about the telephoto and ultrawide cameras—and it’s not great news. The telephoto camera will still be an 8 MP sensor with 3x optical zoom, just like the one on the S24 FE.
Many people expected better, especially for a phone in this price range launching in 2025. Still, it’s worth noting that the S25 FE at least has a dedicated telephoto lens, unlike the S25 Edge, which reportedly doesn’t include one at all.
The ultrawide camera will also stay the same—a 12 MP sensor, again similar to the S24 FE. So, if the leaks are accurate, the only noticeable camera improvement in the S25 FE will be on the front-facing selfie camera.
In terms of performance, the S25 FE is expected to feature a slightly better processor. Instead of the Exynos 2400e found in the S24 FE, it will use the full version of the Exynos 2400.
So far, the Galaxy S25 FE seems to be a very small upgrade over its predecessor. The main rear camera, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses are all expected to remain the same. The only real upgrades could be the selfie camera and a slightly better chipset. Whether Samsung has more surprises in store remains to be seen.

Samsung May Add New AI Feature to Galaxy Phones

Samsung is working on a new feature for its Galaxy AI called “image-to-video generation,” according to a tipster on X (formerly Twitter). The tipster did not share many details but said the feature will let users create videos from images using AI.
This news comes soon after Google announced its advanced video generation tool powered by its Gemini AI. Since Samsung and Google often work together—and Gemini is already the default virtual assistant on Galaxy phones—it’s possible Samsung will use Google’s AI technology for this new feature.
However, Samsung might not be the first to offer this. Honor is preparing to launch a similar feature in its upcoming Honor 400 series. This feature will also use Google’s AI and will be free for the first two months. After that, users will have to pay a subscription fee.
It is possible that Samsung will release its image-to-video feature with the upcoming One UI 8.0 update, and it might also require a paid subscription later. But for now, this is only a rumor and nothing has been officially confirmed by Samsung.
