Nubia Z30 Pro launched as a rebranded ZTE AXON 30 Ultra.

Nubia, a ZTE affiliate brand, has officially launched the nubia Z30 Pro in China as planned. The company’s current flagship smartphone is little more than a rebranded ZTE AXON 30 Ultra with a smaller battery, faster charging features, and higher prices.

Nubia Z30 Pro Specifications and Features

The Nubia Z30 Pro, which was recently released, has the same design as the ZTE AXON 30 Ultra, but with different colours.

Vast Black, Interstellar Silver, and Black Gold Legend are the three hues available for the smartphone. The handset weighs 198g and measures 161.83 x 73.01 x 8.5mm in size.

The smartphone has a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 10-bit colour depth (1.07 billion colours), 144Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 93.45% screen-to-body ratio on the front.

This SGS Eye Care-certified panel supports DC Dimming, has a centred punch-hole, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The phone also has a quad-camera system, with a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, a 64MP secondary sensor with a 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 64MP ‘humanistic’ camera, and an 8MP sensor with a 5x periscope lens and OIS. The phone, on the other hand, has a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 16GB dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs nubia UI 9.0 based on Android 11.

The nubia Z30 Pro is backed by a 4,200mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging (full charge in 15 minutes).

Nubia Z30 Pro Price and Availability

The Nubia Z30 Pro will retail for the following price tags in China.

  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥4,999 ($776)
  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥5,399 ($838)
  • 12GB + 512GB – ¥5,999 ($932)

In China, the basic and mid memory models are already available for pre-order. They will be available for purchase for the first time on May 25th at 10 a.m. (local time).

The high-end storage variant, which is exclusively available in the Black Gold Legend colour, does not yet have a release date.
