Foldable phones have been around for quite some time, but they are currently more popular than ever. Many firms are releasing their own versions of foldable gadgets, and according to a new rumour, OnePlus will be one of them, as the company wants to release its first foldable device.
The rumours come from Max Jambor, who posted an image on Twitter indicating that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to release a foldable gadget next year. In addition, the source claimed that “multiple” foldable smartphones are in the works.

OnePlus foldable might be similar to the Galaxy Z Flip3
The design of the future device remains a secret for the time being. OnePlus is expected to release at least one model that is identical to the Oppo Find N, according to several reports.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 has a fold-inward primary display as well as a secondary exterior display. The Galaxy Z Flip3 could be replaced by a smaller, more cheaper variant with a clamshell folding design.
Although a tri-fold design has been observed in Samsung patents, it is unlikely to be included in the initial wave of OnePlus foldable devices.
Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi have all recently released devices featuring flexible displays. These phones are only available in China and have not yet been released worldwide. This suggests that OnePlus has a good chance of acquiring a major part of the global smartphone market.
