Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Brings Big Changes to Release Date, Price & Pre-Orders

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to become one of the most talked-about flagship smartphones of 2026, with Samsung reshaping its traditional launch schedule and lineup strategy. Based on multiple industry reports and trusted leaks, here is a complete and clear breakdown of what to expect from Samsung’s next premium smartphone series.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Event and Timeline
Samsung is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra alongside the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Unlike previous years, the launch is no longer expected in mid-January.
According to well-known leakers Evan Blass and Ice Universe, Galaxy Unpacked will take place on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. The shift is reportedly due to internal changes in Samsung’s product lineup, including the decision to drop the Edge and Pro variants and return to the familiar three-model structure.

Samsung is likely to send Galaxy Unpacked invitations around February 9, maintaining a two-week promotional window similar to last year.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Pre-Order Offers
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to open immediately after the Galaxy Unpacked keynote concludes, likely around February 25 itself.
Samsung has traditionally attracted early buyers with enhanced trade-in values, instant discounts, and free storage upgrades. However, rising memory and storage costs could put Samsung’s popular “double storage” pre-order offer under pressure this year. While trade-in bonuses are expected to remain strong, storage upgrades may be more limited compared to previous generations.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Expected Pricing
Pricing will be officially revealed during Galaxy Unpacked, but industry expectations suggest Samsung will aim to maintain stability. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to start at $1,299, matching the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s launch price.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to retain starting prices of $799 and $999, respectively. That said, higher storage variants could see a slight increase of around $50 due to increasing component costs.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Reviews and Sale Date
Early reviews of the Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to go live in early March, potentially overlapping with Mobile World Congress 2026. Retail availability is currently tipped for March 11, 2026, exactly two weeks after the launch event.
This timing allows Samsung to dominate post-MWC attention and maximize first-quarter sales momentum across global markets.

iOS 26.4 Leak Reveals Siri’s Biggest Upgrade Yet and Major New Features

iOS 26.4 leak details point to one of the most meaningful mid-cycle updates Apple has released in recent years. The upcoming update focuses heavily on artificial intelligence, personalization, security, and usability, with a major overhaul to Siri leading the list. Designed to refine everyday interactions across iPhone, AirPods, Apple TV, and system apps, iOS 26.4 aims to deliver a smarter and more intuitive user experience within the Apple ecosystem.
How the iOS 26.4 Leak Improves Siri Intelligence

Siri is expected to receive its biggest upgrade yet in iOS 26.4. The voice assistant becomes more context-aware, offering smarter suggestions based on user behavior, app usage, and daily routines. Deeper third-party app integration allows Siri to handle more complex commands, from managing fitness goals to organizing tasks automatically. This improvement positions Siri as a more proactive assistant rather than a simple voice command tool.
Precision AirPods Tracking and New Emojis
Losing AirPods may soon be far less stressful. iOS 26.4 upgrades the Find My app with improved GPS precision, making it easier to locate misplaced AirPods, especially outdoors. Alongside practical improvements, Apple is also expanding its emoji library with nearly 100 new additions, enhancing digital expression and inclusivity across conversations.
Redesigned Health App and Secure Autofill

The Health app is being redesigned for clarity and ease of use. Data categories are better organized, while AI-powered insights help users track trends in sleep, activity, and overall wellness. iOS 26.4 also introduces secure password and payment autofill within third-party apps, streamlining transactions without compromising privacy.
Productivity, Entertainment, and Security Upgrades
Freeform finally gains folder support, making project organization more efficient. Apple TV users can expect a new dedicated sports tier featuring live events and replays. On the security front, iOS 26.4 introduces device integrity verification, adding an extra layer of protection before accessing Apple ID or iCloud services.

With beta testing expected soon and a public rollout likely in the coming months, iOS 26.4 appears set to deliver meaningful improvements across intelligence, security, and usability.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 Spotted on IMEI Database Ahead of Launch

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 IMEI listing has reportedly surfaced months before the company’s expected foldable launch event, hinting that Samsung’s next-generation foldables are already well into development. Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 has also appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, reinforcing speculation that Samsung is sticking to its familiar mid-year launch timeline for the Galaxy Z series.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 IMEI Listing Confirms Early Development
According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 has been listed on the IMEI database with the model number SM-F976U, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 appears as SM-F776U. The “U” suffix typically denotes models intended for the US market, whereas global variants usually carry a “B” suffix. This early listing suggests Samsung has begun the certification process, a common step months ahead of an official announcement.
The IMEI entries also reveal internal codenames. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is said to carry the codename Q8, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is internally referred to as B8. These names follow Samsung’s long-standing naming pattern for its foldable devices, further supporting the authenticity of the listings.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 IMEI listing suggests that the company has already begun internal testing well ahead of its usual launch schedule.
A Third Foldable Could Be in the Works

Interestingly, reports suggest that Samsung may be planning more than just two foldables this year. A third device, bearing the model number SM-F971U and codename H8, reportedly appeared on the IMEI database last month. While details remain scarce, this mystery foldable is speculated to introduce a new form factor, possibly a wider Galaxy Z Fold variant designed to compete with Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone.
If accurate, this would mark a notable expansion of Samsung’s foldable portfolio, signaling the company’s intent to experiment with new designs as competition in the foldable market intensifies.
With the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 IMEI listing now publicly visible, it is clear that Samsung’s next foldable generation is progressing faster than expected.
Expected Launch Timeline and Specifications
Samsung is widely expected to unveil its new foldables in July, consistent with previous Galaxy Z launches. While the company has not confirmed any specifications, leaks suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 8 could feature a 5,000mAh battery, improved telephoto and ultrawide cameras, and a design that is around 10 percent thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Additional rumors point to faster charging speeds, enhanced S Pen support, and an almost invisible display crease, addressing long-standing user concerns about durability and aesthetics. These upgrades, if realized, could make the Galaxy Z Fold 8 one of Samsung’s most refined foldables to date.
What to Expect Next
For now, Samsung has remained silent on the 2026 Galaxy foldable lineup. However, IMEI listings often precede a steady flow of leaks, certifications, and teasers. As the anticipated launch window approaches, more concrete details about the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and the rumored third foldable are likely to emerge.
