In Japan, Oppo has launched the Reno 7A, a new Reno series smartphone. The Oppo smartphone is water and dust resistant and sports a 90Hz AMOLED display. The Snapdragon 695 CPU powers the gadget, which is also 5G enabled. There’s also a triple-camera setup on the back.
The sole 6GB + 128GB variant of the OPPO Reno 7A costs JPY 44,800 (roughly Rs 26,000). It comes in two colours: Starry Black and Dream Blue. Details on availability outside of Japan are currently unknown.
Oppo Reno 7A: Specifications and Features
The Reno 7A has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. There’s also a hole-punch at the front, as well as a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 409 ppi, and a hole-punch.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with an Adreno 619 GPU. It has 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage. It can support up to 5 GB of additional RAM.
In addition, the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. A 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, are included. A 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens is located on the front. There’s also a fingerprint sensor built into the display.
The device’s software is based on Android 12 with the ColorOS 12 layer on top. It also comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices.
