Oppo Reno8 Pro has been confirmed to have the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor

Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is expected to launch its Oppo Reno8 line of handsets in China on May 23. The OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+ smartphones will be part of the series. In the most recent development, Oppo has stated that the Reno8 Pro model in the series will include Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 7 Gen1, which was released only yesterday. Oppo used its Weibo account to reveal a poster confirming that the Oppo Reno8 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC is built on Samsung’s 4nm technology, which ensures up to 20% greater GPU performance and up to 30% faster AI processing capabilities than the previous generation.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 includes a Qualcomm Spectra triple ISP, allowing users to shoot from three cameras simultaneously. It also includes a specialized Trust Management Engine and Android Ready SE, both of which are focused on the security and protection of users’ data.
In addition, the business will include its self-developed MariSilicon X ISP imaging technology in one of the Reno8 phones. The Oppo Find X5 Pro smartphone was the first to use this processor. According to the company, their imaging processor may greatly improve the camera performance of the Reno8 series devices. The chip can optimize images, boost system computing power, and improve low-light photography.

Oppo Reno8 Pro: Specifications and Features
When it comes to the Oppo Reno8 Pro, the smartphone is rumoured to have a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The selfie camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner of the phone. The camera specifications of the Oppo Reno8 Pro have yet to be announced, but there will be a triple camera setup on the back.
The smartphone’s pre-order listing confirms that it would be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM storage variants. The device will include a fingerprint scanner built into the display. Oppo Reno8 Pro will be available in three colour options: Clear Sky Blue, Slightly Drunk (machine-translated), and Night Tour Black.
