  • Improves system stability for some scenarios.
  • Fixes an issue that the multitasking interface does not appear in Gaussian blur.
  • Fixes an issue that the overlapping display of notification bar icons under the horizontal screen.
  • Fixes an occasional flicker issue that occurs when returning to the desktop from an app.
  • Fixes an occasional issue that WLAN cannot connect automatically.
  • Update the Android security patch to September 2022 to enhance system security.
Camera
  • Fixes an issue that the camera function icon cannot be dragged.

Known Issues Oneplus 9 & 9 pro on OxygenOS 13 beta 2

  • In order to use the Jio 5G function, your device needs to be rebooted again after upgrading.
  • After switching the system dynamic wallpaper, the lock screen time is displayed abnormally.
  • Due to the control of the system power consumption, the screen would stay at 60Hz when using WhatsApp and Snapchat.

How to Install OxygenOS 13 beta 2 on Oneplus 9 & 9 pro

  • In order to upgrade this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (C.63/C.65 for IN&NA users and C.64/C.65 for EU users). Please know that the current Open Beta 1 users will receive this build gradually.
  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the given links below
  • Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  • Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
  • Update successful.

  • Adds large folders to the Home screen. You can now open an app in an enlarged folder with just one tap and turn pages in the folder with a swipe.
  • Adds a new type of Always-On Display that shows live information about music, ride-hailing, and food delivery. (Supports only some apps).
  • Adds media playback control, and optimizes the Quick Settings experience.
  • Adds more markup tools for screenshot editing.
  • Optimizes Shelf. Swiping down on the Home screen will bring up Shelf by default. You can search content online and on your device.

  • Adds an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots. The system can identify and automatically pixelate profile pictures and display names in a chat screenshot to protect your privacy.
  • Adds regular clearing of clipboard data for privacy protection.
  • Optimizes Private Safe. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.

Health & Digital wellbeing

  • Adds Kid Space, providing screen time limit, ambient light reminders, and Eye-protecting display features.

Network

  • Adds Jio 5G function.

Known Issues

  • In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (C.07). The current Open Beta 1 users will receive this build push gradually. 
  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the given links below
  • Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  • Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
