Today,Xiaomi launched Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in Malaysia with starting price of RM 359 (~$83). The Redmi 9A and 9C launched with the 6.53-inch display and Helio G35. Both phones are entry-level devices that offer large-sized screens, big-sized batteries, and up to three rear cameras.

The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are equipped with 6.53 inches HD+ IPS LCD panels with 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Both handsets are equipped with 2 GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage.

The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C come preloaded with Android 10 OS along with MIUI 11. Both devices draw power from 5,000mAh batteries.

The Redmi 9A draws power from the Helio G25 octa-core processor and Redmi 9C is equipped with Helio G35 octa-core SoC.

The Redmi 9A comes with a single 13MP rear camera and lacks a fingerprint reader. The Redmi 9C is equipped with a square-shaped camera module that includes a 13MP main shooter, a 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth assist lens, and an LED flash.

The Redmi 9C has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 9A and 9C come with features like a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n,4G VoLTE, GPS, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0, IR blaster, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Both phones have 5MP front-facing cameras.

The Redmi 9A will be available from July 7 for purchase in Malaysia through Lazada. It is priced at RM 359 (~$83) and comes with three color variants-Midnight Grey, Twilight Blue, and Peacock Green.

The Redmi 9C will be available by the end of July. It costs RM 429 (~$100) and comes in three color variants- orange, black and blue colors.
