Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 FE in India after unveiling it internationally earlier this month. The company confirmed that the phone will be available in India starting September 29.

As part of a limited-time offer, Samsung is giving buyers a free storage upgrade. Customers who pay Rs 65,999 will get the 512GB variant instead of the 256GB one. However, this upgrade does not apply to the 128GB version.

In India, the Galaxy S25 FE will be available in Navy, Jet Black, and White colour options. Unfortunately, the Icy Blue colour won’t be offered in the country.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 showcasing the new One UI 8 update based on Android 16

Samsung One UI 8 update has officially started rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy M36, and Galaxy F36, bringing Android 16 and a refreshed user experience. This long-awaited update marks a major milestone for Samsung users, especially those using the company’s 4th Gen foldables. According to reports from SamMobile and several user posts on Samsung’s community forums, the update is already live in select regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

For the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, the software versions are F936BXXUAIYIF and F721BXXUAIYIF, respectively. These builds come bundled with the October 2025 security patch, ensuring the devices are protected with the latest security improvements. The update size is approximately 3 GB, so users are advised to use a Wi-Fi connection for a smoother installation. To download it, head to Settings → Software Update → Download and Install.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy M36 and Galaxy F36 have also begun receiving their One UI 8 update with build numbers E366BXXU2BYI4 and F936BXXUAIYIF, though these models feature the September security patch. Despite this, users are still gaining access to the complete Android 16 experience with all of Samsung’s latest software features.

The One UI 8 update brings several notable enhancements, including a redesigned Samsung Internet browser, smoother multitasking capabilities, and an upgraded Samsung DeX for improved productivity on external displays. Additionally, the Reminders and Calendar apps have received major interface improvements, making task management and scheduling more intuitive. Samsung has also refined its Health app, introduced new accessibility options, and optimized animations for a more fluid and responsive interface.

For those who enjoy customization, One UI 8 also delivers new wallpaper effects, enhanced lock screen widgets, and improved integration with Galaxy AI features. Overall, this update makes the experience on Samsung’s foldables and mid-range phones feel faster, smarter, and more cohesive.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Feature Bigger Screen, Smarter S Pen

Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra Concept

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra ealier this year, and it’s already a powerful flagship. But if you’re planning to upgrade, it might be a good idea to wait for the next one, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Early leaks suggest it could bring some major improvements in performance, display, and camera.

One of the expected changes is in the display design. Samsung might make the screen slightly taller, increasing it from 6.86 inches to 6.9 inches by reducing the bezels around it. The company could also switch to a more advanced screen technology called CoE OLED (Color Filter of Encapsulation). This upgrade could not only make the display thinner but also improve power efficiency.

Another major improvement could be with the S Pen stylus. Many users have complained about magnetic interference when using accessories with the S Pen. Even though the Galaxy S25 Ultra supports the Qi2 wireless charging standard, magnets in third-party cases sometimes trigger warning messages. With the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung might finally solve this problem by adding built-in magnets, similar to what Apple does with its iPhones.

If these rumors turn out to be true, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be a big step forward. So, if you can wait a little longer, it might be worth it.

Samsung Plans to Go Beyond Google’s Gemini for AI in Future Phones

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung is looking to expand the AI features in its smartphones by working with more companies beyond just Google. Right now, Samsung’s Galaxy AI, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S24 series, uses Google’s Gemini AI. But that might change soon.

Choi Won-Joon, the president and COO of Samsung’s mobile division, told Reuters that the company is open to using other AI services if they can give users a better experience. Samsung is already in talks with OpenAI and Perplexity to add their AI tools to its upcoming phones, possibly starting with the Galaxy S26 series.

A report in June said Samsung is close to investing in Perplexity and may include its app and AI assistant in future phones. OpenAI is also being considered, but Samsung is not planning to invest in them.

Choi said, “We’re talking to multiple vendors. As long as these AI agents are competitive and can provide the best user experiences, we are open to any AI agent out there.”

He also commented on Apple’s rumored entry into the foldable phone market, which Samsung currently leads. Choi believes that more competition will help the industry grow.

Samsung is also deciding between two new processors — Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and its own Exynos 2600 — for the Galaxy S26 lineup. The final choice has not been made yet.
