My YouTube username is Techibee, and my name is Ashok. I’ve been creating videos for YouTube for the past six years in addition to writing blogs for the past four. This blog will let you know guys what changes Nothing has done with Nothing OS 1.1.4 & At the end of this blog you guys can also check the video on NothingOS 1.1.4
Which brand is Nothing phone?
Nothing, the new startup founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, just debuted the Nothing Phone (1), its first smartphone. The smartphone comes with a never-seen-before design with glowing strips behind the transparent back panel, along with other items.
What is NothingOS?
Technically speaking, a “Nothing Operating System” is not an operating system. The Android 12 operating system of the Nothing Phone (1) comes with all of its customary features, such as the Play Store and the standard Google app suite.
What then, if it’s not an operating system? Actually, the graphical display you see and interact with when using your phone is known as a user interface. Despite this technical mistake, several other companies (such as Oppo with ColorOS) also refer to their user interfaces as “OS.” Nothing is therefore by no means the sole offender.
What’s new with NothingOS 1.1.4?
Nothing OS has reached version 1.1.4 thanks to the most recent over-the-air (OTA) firmware upgrade. The outstanding number of camera enhancements it provides makes the better color calibration for the ultra wide-angle camera—which now aligns it with the primary camera—one of the most significant in the group. Nothing has also implemented a new motion detection technology that makes it possible to stabilize moving subjects more effectively. Additionally, the business has increased the ultra-wide camera’s shooting speed for HDR photos. Additionally, it now offers the option of adding a Nothing watermark on images. Nothing OS 1.1.4 update adds enhancements to the camera.
The Nothing OS now directly incorporates functionality from the Nothing Ear 1 app. This implies that you won’t need to open the Ear 1 app in order to manage and alter the settings for the wireless earbuds. LHDC high-definition audio will also be supported by the phone going forward. Although it’s a minor change, the phone’s three-button navigation bar may now be turned. The September 2022 Android security update will be included in Nothing OS 1.1.4, which will also deliver battery life enhancements by optimizing the phone’s always-on display. The phone does have improved thermal performance and a better face unlock algorithm, even though there haven’t been many instances of it overheating.
There are normal bug updates as usual, and Nothing OS version 1.1.4 fixes some network problems that were happening with specific carriers. Additionally, it delivers a patch for the HDFC Bank app’s fingerprint issue as well as a bug that would make incoming calls appear to be from an unknown number. Overall, this is a significant update, and Nothing is still dedicated to its handset. Please be patient if you haven’t yet received it because it is currently rolling out. The upgrade can be sideloaded as normal, but the download links are not yet available. As soon as the links are ready, we will update this article.

Nothing Phone (3) Launch Confirmed for July 2025 – “It’s a Magic Number”

Nothing has officially started teasing its next smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), on social media. The company has now confirmed that the phone will launch in July 2025.
On their social handles, Nothing posted a short 6-second video showing the number 3, followed by the message:
“3. It’s a magic number.”
This teaser confirms both the name and the launch month of the upcoming phone.
Now remains the actual date of the launch event. So it could be in the first week or the second week of July.
What to Expect from Nothing Phone (3)
Recently, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, shared some exciting details. He said that the Phone (3) will feature premium materials, major performance upgrades, and better software. He called it “our true flagship smartphone.”
Carl also mentioned that technology should feel exciting again—not just in terms of design, but also with a user-first operating system.
So now, let’s see what the specs of the upcoming phone will be. It will surely have top-notch features, but the major question is about the chipset—will they go with the latest one, or take a step back?
Akis Evangelidis , co-founder of Nothing, also said: ‘Two years in the making. Our first true flagship. Over the past four years, we’ve been steadily building our product capabilities, and Phone (3) is the culmination of it all. I’m buzzing about it, just like when we launched Phone (1). Can’t wait!’
Expected Price of Nothing Phone (3)
Carl Pei hinted that the Phone (3) could be priced around £800 (about USD 1,064 or Rs. 90,850). For comparison, the Nothing Phone (2) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage was launched at £629 (around USD 836 or Rs. 71,429) and was priced at Rs. 54,999 in India.

Based on this, the Nothing Phone (3) could launch in India at over Rs. 64,999, especially if the 12GB + 256GB model is the base variant. The phone is also expected to include advanced AI features, which could impact the pricing.

Nothing Phone (2) Missing Hotspot Manager After Nothing OS 3.0 May Update

Recently, the Nothing Phone (2a) and Nothing Phone (2) received the May 2025 Nothing OS 3.0 update. This update introduced some useful features like Private Space, different passwords for App Lock, and a Hotspot Manager.
These features were already available on the CMF Phone 2 Pro and Nothing Phone 3a series, which run on Nothing OS 3.2 and 3.1.
However, many users noticed that the Hotspot Manager feature is missing on the Nothing Phone (2), even though it was expected. This has led to confusion and disappointment, especially since users have been requesting this feature for a long time.
Now, all eyes are on Nothing to see if they will release another update soon to bring the Hotspot Manager to the Nothing Phone (2). If not, users may have to wait until the next scheduled security update in July 2025.

Nothing Confirms New Over-Ear Headphones Coming This Summer

Tech brand Nothing has officially confirmed that it is working on its first pair of over-ear headphones. The announcement was made in a recent video, following the company’s earlier news about a partnership with audio company KEF for upcoming sound products.
The over-ear headphones have been rumored since February 2024, when they were seen in a certification listing with the model number B170, simply labeled as “wireless headphone”.
Unique Design and Features
Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei had previously shared concept images of over-ear headphones back in October 2022, and now it looks like the idea is finally becoming reality.
According to Nothing, these headphones will have a very unique and stylish design that stands out. The company’s designers reportedly don’t like the look of current headphones on the market, so they are aiming to create something different—something that “says something about you” when you wear them.
The headphones will also feature distinct physical buttons, designed to be easy to recognize by touch so you can control them comfortably while wearing them.
High-Quality Sound at a Better Price
Nothing is promising top-tier sound quality, especially considering the price. The company even claims that if you switch from high-end options like Apple’s AirPods Max, you won’t be disappointed, even though Nothing’s headphones will be more affordable.
There is a concept of Nothing Over-Ear Headphones made by Ben Geskin. They look quite good, featuring a transparent design with Glyph lights inside and a red button at top.
Launch Timeline
The new Nothing headphones are expected to launch in summer 2025, around the same time as the company’s upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3). There’s a good chance both products will be announced together at the same launch event.
