Vivo Nex 3S 5G smartphone is set to launch in China on March 10 which can be expected to be an upgrade to Nex 3. The new smartphone is the company’s other lineup of experimental devices.
The company took to its official account on Weibo to reveal that the Vivo Nex 3S 5G phone will launch on March 10 in China. The launch event will begin at 2.30 pm local time (12.00 pm IST). The phone is expected to be a slightly tweaked variant of the Nex 3 5G which was launched last September.
The phone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. It has also been reported that the phone will be featuring a waterfall screen and the device will come powered by 55W Pump Charging, one of the fastest charging technology today.
On the TENAA listing, a Vivo phone with model number V1950A which is rumored to be the Nex 3S 5G has been spotted. TENAA listing suggests that the phone will come with a 6.89-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2256 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 865 SOC with 8GB of RAM.
Internal storage may come in two choices – 128GB and 256GB. The triple rear camera setup is listed to include a 64-megapixel main camera and two 13-megapixel cameras. The device will come with a 16MP pop-up snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The listing also reveals a 4,250mAh battery that will support 55W fast charging technology. The listing also reveals that the phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs the Android 10 operating system.
The listing also indicates a new Golden colour and the fresh teaser poster also has an orange-y outline at the back, hinting at a new colour option.
