The Xiaomi 12 Pro, a flagship device from the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi, has landed in the Indian market. The phone has a super-high-resolution display and a one-of-a-kind camera system on the back. The display features LTPO 2.0 technology, which allows it to dynamically shift between 120Hz and 1Hz based on the content on the screen. The device can support a touch sampling rate of 480Hz.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features India’s first quad-stereo speaker setup, which comprises two dedicated tweeters and two dedicated woofers and was tuned by Harmon Kardon. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage in the smartphone. The phone comes with a 4600mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge. Xiaomi has included a charger in the packaging.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will come pre-installed with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. It’s a 5G smartphone that can connect to fourteen different 5G bands, making it future-proof.
There’s a triple-camera setup with three 50MP sensors at the back of the phone. In India, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be available in two RAM configurations. The base variant will have 8GB+256GB, while the superior variant will have 12GB+256GB for Rs 62,999 and Rs 66,999, respectively.
ICICI Bank customers will receive a Rs 6,000 immediate discount on the smartphone. The devices will be accessible in India through Mi’s own website and Amazon, as well as all retail partners. The business is also offering an introductory discount of Rs 4,000, which means buyers may save up to Rs 10,000 on the purchase of the smartphone. It will be available for purchase for the first time on May 2 at 12 p.m.
At 12 p.m. on May 1, Xiaomi will hold a special sale for existing Xiaomi and Redmi phones, during which users can get a discount of up to Rs 20,000 by swapping their old devices. The early bird sale will be available on Mi’s official website as well as on Amazon.
