Honor Play5 teaser reveals 64MP quad-camera setup and launching on May 18.

Honor has already announced that its latest smartphone, the Honor Play5, will be released in China on May 18th.

The company has reported that the smartphone will have a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor in the new teaser. At this time, however, the company has not disclosed any additional information about the camera setup.

In terms of design, a previous teaser image of the phone showed that it would feature a water-drop notch. The device’s back has two distinct finishes: Gradient and Laser, giving it a vivid and trendy appearance.

The device’s thickness is reported to be 7.46mm, according to the company. According to rumors, the Honor Play5 will have a 6.53-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ screen resolution, but the refresh rate is undisclosed.

It is also planned to have a fingerprint sensor built into the display. The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and will have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The phone will be powered by a 3,800mAh battery and will run on Android 11 with the company’s custom user interface. The system will also support 66W fast charging technology, according to the company.
