8Bit faced a surprising defeat in the ongoing BGIS 2023 The Grind event. They were placed in Group 10 for the ninth round and had three matches to play on the second week’s first day. Unfortunately, they didn’t do well and finished in the 10th position with only 21 points. Since only the top eight teams from each group can continue to the next round, 8Bit missed this chance.

Because of their elimination, they now have to play in the upcoming BGIS event’s initial stage called “In-game Qualifiers.” Their fans were surprised by this result because 8Bit had been doing really well in some other BGMI tournaments recently.

Let’s see how 8Bit performed in The Grind:

In their first game, they didn’t last long and were knocked out by another team called Velocity Gaming in the fifth circle. They got seven points by eliminating six opponents. One of their best players, Mighty, got four kills, and Juicy and Beast got one each. The winner of this match was a less known team called War Mania Esports.

In the second game, played in a desert map called Miramar, 8Bit lost three players during a fight with a team named TWOB. After that, their remaining player, Madman, tried his best but couldn’t survive for long. He did get three points by eliminating some enemies, but it wasn’t enough. A team called Hindustan Gaming won this match with a huge 16 kills. 8Bit managed only 10 points from their first two matches in The Grind.

In their third game in Group 9, 8Bit started well in the beginning circles. They got ten eliminations and looked strong until the fifth zone, where they were suddenly knocked out, ending the game with only 11 points. Beast and Mighty did well with four and three kills, respectively. The winning team in this match was Velocity Gaming.

On the previous day, a new player named Regaltos joined 8Bit for the BGIS 2023. However, he didn’t play any matches in The Grind’s first round. Now, the team is focusing on doing their best in the India Series, which starts on August 10.

Even though 8Bit is out of The Grind, they are determined to bounce back in future competitions and show their gaming skills again.
