Following the success of its PC and console versions, EA and Respawn finally introduced their uber-popular Apex Legends title to mobile platforms with a mobile-exclusive legend Fade, after tough testing and delayed soft launches. And, following its latest global release on May 17, the title is said to have become the top downloaded mobile game on iOS in 60 countries. Check out the details below to learn more right now.

Apex Legends Mobile has also surpassed Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)

According to a recent Pocket Gamer story, which cited an initial screenshot by the digital data firm Sensor Tower, Apex Legends has become the most downloaded game on the Apple App Store in 60 countries, including Germany, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. You can see the title at the top of the “Top Free Games” list in India on the App Store in the screenshot below.

For quite some time, EA and Respawn have been hyping their Apex Legends Mobile title. The title received over 15 million pre-registrations globally during its pre-registration phase. Following its official release, the title dethroned Krafton’s enormously popular mobile battle royale title Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) to become the #1 free-to-play title on iOS. According to the survey, Apex Legends Mobile has joined the top ten most downloaded iPhone games in 89 countries.

As you might expect, Apex Legends Mobile has grown in popularity alongside its PC and console counterparts. It is worth noting, however, that the mobile version does not permit cross-play with any of the two. Nonetheless, the game offers the same fast-paced, high-adrenaline battle royale experience as its PC and console predecessors, complete with distinct characters and powers.
