Apple’s Electric Car Project Hits Critical Stage According to Bloomberg
Apple’s secret project, “Apple Car” is at a crucial stage after about 10 years of development and big investments. The codename of this project, i.e. electric car is “Project Titan.” About $1 billion has been invested by Apple in “Project Titan” every year. Previously, the Apple Car is expected to be launched in 2026.
But now, the launch date has been delayed from 2026 to 2028, as reported by Bloomberg. If we talk about the aim of this project, then the aim is for a completely self-driving electric (EV) car. But now, some recent reports suggest that Apple is now working on a car that assists with expressway driving. Apple wants to make its car different from others with a unique user interface (UI), strong safety features, and a distinctive design.
The insiders are also saying that the project Titan may be discontinued if the most recent changes won’t work. As we know, in the car industry there are big players like Tesla. Some challenges are making it hard to replicate the success of Apple iPhones, MacBooks, and iMacs.
We hope Apple will succeed in delivering a car in this competition. If Apple won’t be able to deliver us a car, then it will be very disappointing.
