Asus is preparing the ROG Phone 6, the follow-up to its well-liked gaming smartphone from the previous year, the ROG Phone 5. On July 5, the ROG Phone 6 will be made available, and it is anticipated to have a number of new features and enhancements over its predecessor. Although we all know that Asus hasn’t bothered to update the design of the phone in the last four generations, we aren’t really expecting a huge design change this year. Asus has yet to announce the phone’s design.

The full front and back of the ROG Phone 6 have been seen in TENAA. Given that the display is off in the picture, it is challenging to identify the front. However, Asus has done a good job on the back. Although there are minor aesthetic modifications, the phone seems similar to previous ROG Phone variants we have seen. The largest change is the rear display’s new position, which first appeared on the ROG Phone 5 series last year. This year, too, there will likely be three cameras on the phone, increasing the camera hump.

Asus ROG Phone 6 Design Leaks

While the form factor is the same, the ROG Phone 6 opts for a more basic design than its predecessors. The rear also looks interesting.

Previous leaks not only showed the handset’s look but also its specifications and features. The phone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is more effective and powerful, and up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone’s 6.78-inch AMOLED screen will have an even faster 165Hz refresh rate. The 6000mAh battery is anticipated to still power the phone, which will also receive support from the 65W wired charging system.

The ROG Phone 6 will have an IP rating for water and dust resistance, according to Asus. Given that Asus might use vents to keep the phone cool, it won’t have an IP68 designation. According to Asus, the phone will have an IPX4 coating, making it resistant to light rain and splashes.
