Asus will unveil ROG Phone 6 series on July 6

The latest generation of Asus’ ROG gaming smartphones is about to be unveiled. The Asus ROG Phone 6 series will be introduced globally on July 6th, according to the Taiwanese manufacturer. It will be a virtual launch that will be broadcast live on the company’s social networks.

On July 5, Asus teased the global launch of its new ROG Phone 6 series with a teaser poster on Twitter. The virtual event will take place at 8 p.m. in Taipei, Taiwan, according to Asus. Users will be able to watch the event live stream at different times depending on their time zone. It will be shown live at 5:30 p.m. in India, 2 p.m. in Berlin, and 8 a.m. in New York.

The tagline for the Asus ROG Phone 6 series is ‘For Those Who Dare.’ Asus also mentioned that there will be two more surprises at the event, including new accessories and gaming headphones. Apart from that, the smartphones’ specifications are currently unclear, except for the fact that they will use the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. They’re said to be the first gaming phones to include this processor.

In other Asus news, the company just announced the debut of two new Vivobook laptops in India, the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition and the Zenbook 14 OLED. In addition, the company has updated the hardware in its Vivobook S 14 OLED/ S 15 OLED and Vivobook 14/ 15 notebooks in India.

The Zenbook 14 OLED comes with a 14-inch 2.8K (2,8801,800 pixels) OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 0.2ms reaction time, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 550 nits.
The laptop’s display is Vesa-certified, and it is said to emit 70% less harmful blue light.
