BGMI 2.8 Update Coming Soon with New Features and Modes – Here’s What We Know

Battlegrounds Mobile India is set to launch its BGMI 2.8 update. This game known as BGMI is a favorite among battle royale players in India. The current version is 2.7 which introduced new game modes. Now fans are eager to see what the 2.8 update will bring.

What’s New in BGMI 2.8 Update?

1. New Weapon – Combat Knife: This melee weapon was first seen in Zombie Mode. Now it’s returning as a permanent weapon in BGMI.
2. Custom Parachute and Jump Buttons: Players can now change the size location and look of the parachute and jump buttons.
3. Zombie Edge Game Mode: Expected in October this new mode might be swapped for a Diwali-themed event specially for BGMI players in India.
4. Crossbow Upgrade: The crossbow gets a new attachment called Tactical Gunpowder. This makes the weapon even more powerful.
5. Voice Add-on for Map: Players can now hear location names on almost all maps when they tap on them.
6. Hoverboard: A new way to move around the map the Maglev Hoverboard will be added to various locations.
7. No More Friendly Fire: Players won’t be hurt by their teammates’ grenades anymore.
8. Vehicles with Protection: If teammates are in a vehicle it can’t be destroyed.

BGMI 2.8 Update Release Date

While players are excited for the new update the exact release date in October 2023 is still unknown. But many believe it will come out soon. As always players should wait for an official announcement from Krafton before getting too excited.
