Three years have passed and now Cyberpunk 2077 is finally getting its big moment. The only expansion they planned for this game, named Phantom Liberty is set to release on Monday, September 25. It’s a global launch for PC users. Many, including us, have found it quite exciting. Pcgamer.com even gave it an 87% score in their review, labeling it as the “thrilling ending to Cyberpunk 2077’s three-year journey to perfection”.

Just a few days before this release on September 21, Cyberpunk introduced its major 2.0 patch. This update was free for all players. The good news is that CD Projekt Red decided not to make Phantom Liberty available early for players who pay more. Every player gets access at the same time. But if you play on consoles you might have to wait a little longer.

Here are the details of the release schedule for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty:

Release Time for Phantom Liberty:

PC users can start their Phantom Liberty experience on September 25 at:

  • 4 pm in Los Angeles
  • 7 pm in New York
  • By September 26, it will be 12 am in London
  • 7 am in Beijing
  • 9 am in Sydney

CD Projekt Red provided an image to help players understand the release times. It shows that PC and console launch times differ. In some parts of the world, console players have to wait longer. In other parts, they get early access. It might be a bit confusing.

For console users, the global release of Phantom Liberty starts at midnight, local time, on September 26. Players in some countries, like Japan and Australia, will get to play 6-12 hours earlier. But in places like the United States, they’ll be behind by 5-8 hours. So, it’s a mixed bag for console players.
