Google Nest Cam is Launching in India; Collaboration with Tata Play

In collaboration with Tata Play, Google’s Nest Cam has arrived in India. This is the outcome of the launch of the Tata Play Secure Plus service, which aims to offer Indian citizens home security options. Here are all the pertinent details.

Google Nest Cam Details

The Nest Cam (battery), a Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) smart speaker, and a two-month free trial of Nest Aware are all included in the new Tata Play Secure Plus package. Access to features including familiar face notifications, two-way communication, up to 60 days of event video history, a year’s warranty, and more is available with this bundle.

The Nest Cam is intended for both inside and outdoor use, according to the specifics. It offers a live view that is available constantly, a free event video archive, and pertinent alerts. A person, an animal, or a vehicle can all be detected by the device. Users can check the Google Home app for all the updates. Both Alexa and Google Assistant are supported. Additionally, night vision and HDR are supported.

A 2MP sensor with 6x digital zoom and a 130° diagonal field of vision is among the technical features. Other features include a high-quality speaker and microphone, weather resistance, 1080p recording at 30 frames per second, and more. Wi-Fi dual-band and Bluetooth are supported (BLE). One colour, Snow, is available for the Google Nest Cam.

Google Nest Cam: Price and Availability

In India, the Nest Cam costs Rs 11,999. Regarding the Tata Play Secure Plus plans, the Basic plan, which allows for up to 4 cameras, costs Rs 3000 per year, while the Plus plan, which allows for up to 8 cameras, costs Rs 6,000 per year. A third option is also available, and it costs Rs 9,000 per year and includes up to 12 cameras. The deal includes a free Nest Mini smart speaker.

Now, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, and Jaipur all provide Tata Play Secure Plus. Soon, Tata Play will introduce the Secure Plus plans in additional cities.
