Exciting news for tech lovers and students in India! Google and HP have come together to start making Chromebooks right here at home. This is special because it’s the first time Chromebooks will be made in India.

What’s the reason behind this move? Both companies see a chance to help students. They believe that by giving them good and budget-friendly computers, learning can become more fun and effective. Schools all over India will get the chance to use these computers.

The making of these Chromebooks will happen at a place called the Flex factory near Chennai. HP has been using this place to make other tech items since August 2020. But from October 2, 2023, they’ll add HP India Chromebooks to their list.

This isn’t just about making new gadgets. It is also a proud moment for the ‘Make in India’ mission. This mission wants more things to be made locally to make our economy strong. An interesting fact is that thanks to ‘Make in India’ we’ve made over 2 billion mobile phones between 2014 and 2022.

To sum it up this partnership between Google and HP is not just great for technology in India but also for our students and our nation’s growth.
