Honor 30S 5G with Kirin 820 & 64MP Quad Cameras setup Launched.

The Official first phone in the Honor 30 series is the Honor 30S. It is also the first phone with Kirin 820 5G chipset.The Honor 30S 5G packs a 64 MP quad rear camera setup.The phone does not support Google services but relies on the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).

Honor 30S 5G Specifications:

The phone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels and 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.It is powered with 7nm Kirin 820 processor with one Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.36GHz,three Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.22GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.84GHz.

Mali-G57 6-core GPU is present for graphics. It runs on Android 10 with the Magic UI 3.1.1 out of box.The phone meaures 162.31×75.0x8.58mm in dimensions and it weighs 190 grams.The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast wired charging.

The phone supports 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage which can be expanded via an NM card. It also supports special e-Reader mode,eye-protection mode, Link Turbo, GPU Turbo.

The quad-camera setup at the back of Honor 30S includes a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto aperture with 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and 20x digital zoom. A 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter completes the setup.

A 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture is present for taking selfies and video calling.The Honor 30 S supports 4K videos and 960fps slo-mo video at 720p resolution.There is also AIS and EIS for stabilization.

Honor 30S Pricing & Availability:

The Pricing of the Honor 30S are as follows-

8GB RAM + 128GB ROM – CNY 2,399 approx (Rs. 25,500)

8GB RAM + 256GB ROM – CNY 2,699 approx (Rs. 29,000)

The phone comes in three colour options-black, green, and white.The Honor 30S will be up for sale for the first time on April 7 in China.

There is no word on when it will arrive in India or international market.
