How to Install ColorOS 12 open beta 2 on Oneplus 8, 8 Pro & 8T

OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T are currently in OxygenOS 12 closed beta program. The OnePlus 8 series is also running the December 2021 security patch.OnePlus has released the stable Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 series users. The company has also started to roll out the latest Stable build of OxygenOS 12 C.44 for the Oneplus 9 Series.

In past, Oneplus rolled out the first open beta update of ColorOS 12 which was an incremental update over Close beta 6 & the update size was only 9Mb. Now a new update is being pushed by Oneplus based on ColorOS 12 for Oneplus 8, 8pro & 8T which bring improvement over the previous update and bug fix related to Camera, System & few applications.

Prerequisite to Install ColorsOS 12 Oneplus 8 Series

• Take a backup of your data
• Must be running OxygenOS 11/ColorOS 12 any Close beta
• Download full Zip of ColorOS 12 Open beta 2 C.11 & C.15: Downloads Here
• Oneplus Local update apk: Download from Telegram – Official Link (Install this app if running ColorOS 12 Close beta)

Steps to Install ColorOS 12 open beta 2 C.11 & C.15 on Oneplus 8, 8 pro & 8T

Oneplus 8

• If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 or above version/ColorOS 12 any Close beta, Just Download the ColorOS 12 open beta 2 and do a local update. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete

Oneplus 8 pro

• If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.13.13 or above version/ColorOS 12 any Close beta, Just Download the ColorOS 12 open beta 2 and do a local update. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete

Oneplus 8T 

• If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.12.12 or above version/ColorOS 12 any Close beta, Just Download the ColorOS 12 open beta 2 and do a local update. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete.
