How to Install ColorOS 12 open beta 3 C.12 & C.16 on Oneplus 8, 8 Pro & 8T

Oneplus a few days back rollout out OxygenOS 12 open beta 1 for Oneplus 8, 8pro & 8T, Along with Oneplus 8 & 8T Series Oneplus 9R got the taste of Android 12. Oneplus 9R also received OxygenOS 12 open beta 1. Oneplus have been busy pushing updates for its Smartphones Oneplus 9 & 9 pro got Stable OxygenOS 12 C.46 with many fixes.

In China Oneplus 8, 8pro & 8T getting ColorOS 12 open beta 3 for Oneplus 8 & 8pro the version is ColorOS 12 vC.12 & for Oneplus 8T version is C.16. Latest open beta brings improvements in the overall performance of the device all with some bug fixes.

Prerequisite to Install ColorsOS 12 Oneplus 8 Series

• Take a backup of your data
• Must be running OxygenOS 11/ColorOS 12 any Close beta
• Download full Zip of ColorOS 12 Open beta 3 C.12 & C.16: Downloads Here
• Oneplus Local update app: Download from Telegram – Official Link (Install this app if running ColorOS 12 Close beta or OxygenOS Open Beta 1)

Note: ColorOS 12 open beta 3 cant be Installed directly on OxygenOS 12 open beta 1, If you are running OxygenOS 12 open beta 1 then Downgrade your device to Stable OxygenOS 12 by following this VIDEO guide of Downgrade

Steps to Install ColorOS 12 open beta 3 C.12 & C.16 on Oneplus 8, 8 pro & 8T

Oneplus 8

• If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 or above version/ColorOS 12 any Close beta, Just Download the ColorOS 12 open beta 3 and do a local update. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete. Note: ColorOS 12 open beta 3 cant be Installed directly on OxygenOS 12 open beta 1, If you are running OxygenOS 12 open beta 1 then Downgrade your device to Stable OxygenOS 12 by following this VIDEO guide of Downgrade

Oneplus 8 pro

• If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.13.13 or above version/ColorOS 12 any Close beta, Just Download the ColorOS 12 open beta 3 and do a local update. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete.
