New 12.9-inch iPad Air Design Shown in CAD Renders

Last year, i.e. in 2023, Apple skipped their iPad Air. But this year, they are rumored to be working on a new 12.9-inch iPad Air, which may be similar to the display size of iPad Pro. As we know, Apple uses a 12.9-inch display only in their iPad Pro Lineup. According to a report by DigiTimes, the display size must be the same for both the iPad Air and the iPad Pro. But the iPad Pro comes with a mini-LED display, and this new iPad Air 12.9-inch has an LCD as usual.

What are the changes and new add-ons in the new iPad Air 12.9-inch?

91mobiles got the renders of the new iPad Air 12.9-inch tablet. As said by 91mobiles, these are the CAD renders of the iPad Air 12.9-inch. These renders can give us an idea of the look of this new, upcoming iPad Air. According to the renders, this new iPad Air looks similar to its current iPad Air model with an all-screen design and a slim body.

This iPad Air comes with a USB-C port at the bottom. It also has the Touch ID button on the top for biometrics. Along with this, it also has speaker grills on the top and bottom as well. The side switch is also visible. If we talk about the change, then there is a slight design change in the back camera.

Now, you can see a border around the back camera and the LED flash of the new iPad Air. In the current model of iPad, you can see the naked sensor of the back camera. This is expected to be launched with Apple’s own M2 chip. This iPad Air is expected to be launched soon.
