Nothing company has recently released the Nothing OS 2.5.2 update for its Phone (2) users. This update is not just a routine one – it introduces new features, significant improvements, and crucial bug fixes along with the January 2024 security patch for enhanced device protection. The size for the update is 535 MB and promises to comprehensively enhance the Phone (2)’s capabilities.

The new features are particularly exciting. Users can now enjoy direct access to the Glyph Interface’s Music Visualisation feature, which adds a visual dimension to the audio experience. Additionally, managing network settings has become more convenient. Users can set their network directly from the Quick Settings panel, even without unlocking the device, making it easier to stay connected on the go.

Improvements in this update are notable. The lock screen interface now sports refined visual effects, offering a more polished and pleasant user interaction. The status bar’s icon display has been optimized for a clutter-free view, and the success rate of fingerprint unlocking has been improved for better security and ease of access. Transition animations for the Photos widget have been refined for a smoother visual experience. Furthermore, the update has improved stability in call and connection quality, ensuring clear and uninterrupted communication.

The update also addresses several bugs. The game dashboard’s FPS issue has been fixed, ensuring it regularly updates for an improved gaming experience. An issue causing the Glyph switch to turn on automatically in certain scenarios has been resolved. There have been fixes for volume adjustments during Flip to Glyph, preventing unwanted changes in sound levels. The Glyph now functions correctly according to the Bedtime schedule, and music playback no longer interferes during incoming calls in Vibrate Mode. Double-tapping the power button to launch the Wallet has been made more reliable. The update also resolves a problem that caused the battery percentage to not appear in the status bar and addresses stability issues with NFC functionality.
