The launch of the Nothing Phone (1) is gradually near, and new developments involving the smartphone are appearing virtually weekly. According to a recent leak, Reliance Digital may manage the offline retail sales of the Nothing Phone (1) in India in addition to online sales on Flipkart.

According to tipper Yogesh Brar, Nothing intends to use Reliance Digital outlets to push Phone (1) in the offline market. This would be a great strategy given that offline sales still account for a sizable portion of overall smartphone sales in the Indian market. The tipster also claims that the Phone (1)’s cameras aren’t all that horrible. He affirms that the main sensor will be 50 megapixels.

Recent pre-order pass sales for the Nothing Phone (1) by Nothing in India required sign-ups and waitlists, with private community members receiving codes in their emails before anybody else could purchase a pre-order pass. The waiting members have already begun receiving the pre-order pass invite codes as of yesterday.

Nothing in the policy prohibits non-community members from viewing their waitlist position or from moving up the line by referring friends and relatives. In addition, Nothing adds that the pass does not constitute the pre-order itself but rather simply secures your access to the pre-order phone (1).

The Snapdragon 778G+ CPU is expected to be included in the upper mid-range smartphone known as the Nothing Phone (1). The front should have a 120Hz OLED panel, while the back should have two cameras. Additionally, it includes a glyph interface at the back that is made up of about 900 LEDs that light up in time with the software.
