We have good news for you Oneplus Started rolling out the OxygenOS 13 open beta 2 is now rolling out for these phones with a new security patch & other fixes over the previous build of OxygenOS 13. Official OxygenOS 13 open beta 2 for Oneplus 8,8 pro, 8T & Oneplus 9R.

  • Improves system stability.
  • Extends the battery life in some scenarios.
  • Fixes a display issue with the charging animation on the Lock screen.
  • Fixes a display issue with the Screen-off gestures in Settings.
  • Integrates the October 2022 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Note: In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (C.35/36).
How to Install OxygenOS 13 open beta 2 on Oneplus 8, 8 pro, 8T & 9R
  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  • Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 5 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  • Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
  • Update successful.
Some Known issues on OxygenOS 13 open beta 2

Oneplus 8, 8 pro & 8T

  • Abnormal display of charging prompt on the lock screen.
  • The timing function of the life mode is not displayed normally.
  • Black screen would happen while opening the camera in the chat of messenger.

Oneplus 9R
  • Charging icon is displayed abnormally on the lock screen in some scenarios.
  • The voice-to-text function cannot be opened by gestures in some scenarios.
  • In order to use the Jio 5G function, your device needs to be rebooted again after the upgrade.
