Official Stable Pixel Experience Android 12 ROM for Oneplus 5 & 5T – How to Install

PixelExperience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation).

Since Google pushed Android 12 and its changes to AOSP, ROM developers have hit the ground running, and for selected hardware, you can now get a taste of the latest OS upgrade. Having access to the publicly available Android 12 source code was always going to accelerate any ROM development.

Prerequisite:

• Unlocked Bootloader (If not aware check out our video): Video
• Orange Fox recovery for Oneplus 5 & 5T: Download
• Firmware Oxygen OS 10.0.1: Oneplus 5 | Oneplus 5T
• Official Pixel Experience: Download

Steps to Install Pixel Experience ROM on Oneplus 5 & 5T:

• Make Sure the device is running OxygenOS 10.0.1 (If not flash firmware in recovery)
• Copy Rom & Firmware inside internal storage
• Boot into Recovery
• Boot into TWRP Recovery and select wipe. Tap on advanced wipe and select the following options – Dalvik / ART Cache – Cache – System – Vendor – Data Swipe to wipe
• Tap Install & Select firmware – Swipe to flash
• Now Select ROM file – Swipe to flash
• After that go to wipe and format date
• Reboot
