OnePlus 11R Starts Receiving July 2023 Security Update [OTA]

OnePlus has finally started giving updates to flagship devices. Now OnePlus 11R getting OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 OTA update in India. It will be rolling out in stages users may get later also in other regions.

The software version for this update is OxygenOS 13.1 CPH2487_13.1.0.581(EX01) and the update size is 1.36 GB. You must connect to a WiFi network for faster download as the size is a little bit large.

This new update will be carrying July 2023 latest Android security patch, which makes your device more secure. It also does some bug fixes and makes the device more smooth.

It also fixes some issues with the Photos app, so you can get a better experience while using the camera and also looking at the photos.

Also, there is a hidden change made to this update in the gaming mode where they added a call blocker and network optimisation.

How to update

If you don’t get OTA on your device just wait for some days you might get it very soon. Whenever the update is available for your device just go to ‘Settings’ then ‘About Device’ and finally tap on ‘OxygenOS view updates’. The Install Now button will appear at the bottom of your device.
