Oneplus has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Oneplus 8 series which is on April 14. There have been plenty of leaks and rumors about the phone before launch and through these leaks we know almost everything about this new flagship series.

OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro Design and Display

OnePlus 8 is rumored to feature a 6.55-inch curved fluid AMOLED FHD+ display with a punch-hole camera set up at the front and a pill-shaped camera setup at the back. The display comes with a 2400 x 1080p resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate, and HDR10+.

Oneplus 8 Pro might feature a 6.78-inch fluid AMOLED display made by Samsung with 2K 3168 x 1440p resolution, 120Hz screen refresh rate, and HDR10+.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 8 will weigh 180 grams with 8mm thickness and the Pro model will weigh around 200gms. Oneplus 8 Pro will also feature a MEMC chip for better experience and performance of video and gaming.

The OnePlus 8 will feature a triple camera setup while the OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a quad-camera setup having laser Autofocus.

Oneplus 8 Pro is rumored to have IP68 certification. Both phones will have an alert slider on the right side above the power button, a USB-C port at the bottom, and no headphone jack. The OnePlus 8 series will have anti-glare glass and gorilla glass 6 protection for the display.

The OnePlus 8 series got A+ from the display mate which is the same as the Oneplus 7Pro.

Both phones will come with Snapdragon 865 processor with Qualcomm’s X55 modem and 5G support. Both phones will run on Android 10 out of the box with the new OxygenOS version and Dark Mode 2.0.

For storage options, both phones should feature 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.0 ROM.OnePlus 8 will feature LPDDR4X standard with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants while Oneplus 8Pro will feature LPDDR5 standard.

• Laser AF and Dual LED flash

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro should have 16MP cameras with f/2.0 and f/2.4 apertures respectively. Both phones should support 4K 60fps video recording.

The OnePlus 8 is said to be powered by a massive 4300mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge and 30T fast charging. OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a 4510mAh battery with 30W fast charging and 30W fast wireless charging. The Oneplus 8 Pro battery will also support 3W reverse wireless charging.

The OnePlus 8 (8GB RAM and 128GB variant) might be priced at €729 and 12GB and 256GB variants for €835. The OnePlus 8 Pro(8GB + 128GB variant) might be priced at €930 and the 12GB + 256GB variant for €1,020.OnePlus 8 series will come in many color options-Interstellar Glow, Glacier Green, Black, and Ultramarine Blue

The international Oneplus 8 Launch is on April 14. The phone will go on sale in China on April 17 and rumored to go on sale in Europe from April 30.
