OnePlus 9 Lite rumored to have similar hardware to the OnePlus 8T.

Oneplus is planning to launch three Oneplus 9 models next year. Along with Oneplus 9 and 9Pro, company is planning to launch Oneplus 9 Lite which will feature similar hardware to the OnePlus 8T.

According to Android Central, Oneplus 9 Lite will be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chip and a 90 or 120Hz AMOLED panel. The device will support 65W fast charging and is also expected to share the same camera optics as of the OnePlus 8T.

The OnePlus 9 Lite may feature a plastic back “and more mainstream design to differentiate itself from the costlier OnePlus 8T,” Android Central said. The report also speculate that the device may launch at $600.

Recently, there were rumours that OnePlus would launch a device called OnePlus 9E along with Oneplus 9 and Oneplus 9Pro, and it’s possible the OnePlus 9 Lite is that device. There were some leaks about the Oneplus 9 camera specifications as well.

The leak shows the triple camera system of the OnePlus 9 which will be led by a 50-megapixel Ultra Vision wide-angle camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 20-megapixel Cine Camera, an ultrawide lens with f/1.8 aperture. The third lens will be an OIS assisted 12-megapixel telephoto camera with autofocus and an f/3.4 aperture.

Last week, PhoneArena had shared the leaked specs of the OnePlus 9. As per the leak, the smartphone could be coming with a 6.55-inch FHD+ flat screen with HDR, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and OxygenOS based Android 11 OS.

The publication had also claimed that the OnePlus 9 could be featuring a selfie camera of 16-megapixel and a 48-megapixel main camera on the rear.

Even the Live shots shared by the publication revealed that the OnePlus 9 has a punch-hole screen and a rectangle-shaped camera module on its rear.
