OnePlus Announced to Launch Oneplus 8 Series on April 14.

Oneplus has now given an official launch date for its OnePlus 8 series which is on April 14 and the launch event in India is at 8:30 pm via the Livestream from OnePlus.

Not many details have been officially shared by the company except that the new series will have a 120Hz display and 5G connectivity.

A short teaser video on Twitter seems to be confirming all the earlier leaked designs. The phones will have curved edges, an alert slider, and power buttons. One of the phones will have a ridge on the top of the frame

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, OnePlus will launch the phones via the Livestream initially in Europe and will only unveil the phone in India for the time being. The Indian prices could be announced later by the company.

What to expect from Oneplus 8 Series:

As per rumors, the OnePlus 8 will be equipped with a 6.6-inch curved display with a punch-hole selfie camera on the left corner. The display resolution will be Full HD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup comprises a triple camera setup with a high-resolution primary camera, an ultrawide, and a telephoto shooter.

Oneplus 8 Pro is said to feature a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, with 5G presumably making the cut too. The display sport a punch-hole camera with a quad-camera setup, adding a ToF sensor to the primary, ultrawide, and telephoto combo.

Oneplus 8 Lite will come with a new angular design and will sport a 6.4-inch display, with a punch-hole selfie camera on the front. It is also likely to have a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The leaked render also showcased a triple camera module with a high-resolution primary camera, an ultrawide lens, and a ToF depth sensor. The device is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset.
