OnePlus announces new features for OxygenOS: What’s new???

Onplus just launched their new Oneplus 8 series flagship smartphones along with new accessories such as OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones, Oneplus Warp 30 Wireless charger etc. Apart from this,Oneplus also announced a couple of new features coming to the OxygenOS. The new OxygenOS features 280 new optimizations which are designed for better Android experience on 90Hz and 120Hz displays.

Some of the few features the company unveiled are:

Smooth Battle 2.0:

The new OxygenOS features several optimizations to make scrolling smoother and hassle-free. The operating system is lightweight and provides a seamless software experience.

Gestures:

The new OxygenOS features made Navigation easy.One can experience an immersive full-screen display thanks to intuitive gestures that let you navigate with ease.

Live Wallpaper:

The new OxygenOS features Live Wallpapers which can connect to the OnePlus Weather app and changes as per real-time weather conditions.

New dark theme:

OnePlus has refreshed the dark theme for the OnePlus 8 which is now compatible with a wide range of third-party apps to help maintain a consistent viewing experience.Dark Theme keeps eyes comfortable in low light and even helps prolong battery life.

Live Caption:

The new OxygenOS brings Live Caption which provides audio and video captions in realtime.

Work-Life Balance:

OxygenOS “Work mode” and “Life mode” allow you to prioritize select notifications based on your location, time, or Wi-Fi network.This feature hepls to organize and achieve the perfect work-life balance.

 

OnePlus is working with Google One to provide up to 100GB of cloud storage. This will come with 3 months free trial.Google’s Stadia cloud gaming service will also be available on OnePlus 8 Pro series.The new series also comes with Amazon Alexa app preinstalled.
