OnePlus Community App Adds Most-Requested Feature: Here’s How to Use It

This feature is available in the Beta version 4.12.0 of the OnePlus Community App, and it will be rolling out soon. As of now, the stable version is 4.11.4. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to enable or disable the Display device source feature.

How to hide device source in OnePlus Community App:

Step 1: Open the OnePlus Community App

First, open the OnePlus Community App on your device.

Step 2: Go to User Profile

Next, click on your user profile icon located at the top right corner of the app.

Step 3: Open Settings

From your user profile page, click on the Settings option.

Step 4: Select Privacy

In the Settings menu, select the Privacy option.

Step 5: Enable or Disable Display Device Source

Finally, you will see the option to enable or disable the Display device source feature. Simply toggle the switch to turn it on or off according to your preference.

Enabling this feature will allow you to test your FUT devices without showing the source, while disabling it will show the device source.

WhatsApp Customer Support in Community App

OnePlus has introduced a new India-specific feature in the OnePlus Community App to enhance customer support for Indian users. By clicking on the customer service icon on your profile, you can directly access OnePlus WhatsApp support (if WhatsApp is installed on your device) and get your queries addressed quickly. This feature will provide Indian users with a convenient and direct way to seek assistance and resolve issues related to their OnePlus devices.
