From past couple of days,OnePlus has released a couple of updates for Oneplus Launcher.Oneplus launcher version 4.4.3 added shortcut to access quick search and navigation icon for recent apps.Oneplus launcher version 4.4 added a redesigned app switcher to the launcher with a smaller and more uniform UI and a new quick search gesture.

Oneplus launcher 4.5.2 got OnePlus Scout, which allowed users to search for apps, contacts, settings, shortcuts and more from a single search bar.Now, the company is rolling out OnePlus Launcher 4.5.4 for beta users which comes with a new gesture to access the Shelf feature.OnePlus Launcher 4.5.4 adds a swipe down gesture to access OnePlus Shelf.

According to a recent post on the OnePlus community forums, This new version comes with the brand-new “Swipe down to access OnePlus Shelf” feature.

OnePlus Shelf is a feature to quickly use many easy-to-use apps, such as Notes, Toolbox, Step Counter and recent contacts – all available from your launcher’s screen.

Currently,this version is rolling out to those users who have enrolled in the beta program.To enable the feature-Long Press on the Launcher > Click HOME SETTINGS > Swipe down to access > Enable “Swipe down to access” and select “Shelf”

Once the gesture is enabled, you’ll be able to swipe down from anywhere on the home screen to bring up the OnePlus Shelf.

Currently, this feature is available on OnePlus 8 series models in North America and the EU and no announcement has been made for its global release.
