OnePlus Nord 2 5G grabs OxygenOS 13 F.49 Update with December 2023 Security Patch

OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker has started rolling out the OxygenOS 13 F.49 update for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G based on the December 2023 security patch in India. The update is still based on OxygenOS 13.0 (Android 13). Even though most of the OnePlus devices got the OxygenOS 13.1 update. OnePlus has not even confirmed whether the OnePlus Nord 2 5G got the OxygenOS 13.1 update or not.

This is an incremental Update that is rolling out for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G users identified as DN2101_11_F.49.

As mentioned above, this update includes the latest December 2023 Android security patch. Moreover, this OxygenOS 13 F.49 update also improves system stability and performance along with fixing minor bugs that were present after the previous update. If we talk about the update size. So, the update size is identified as 1.14 GB.

How to Update?

To update your OnePlus Nord 2 5G to OxygenOS 13 F.49. Whenever you get the update notification, click on it. You can also check for manually by going into Settings> About Device> Click on Blue Color OxygenOS Box. Click On Download and then, click on Install.

Note: You have to make sure that your device is sufficiently charged i.e. 50% of its storage, before installing the update.

Also, if you don’t want to update your phone after downgrading. Then do keep in mind to change Auto Update to Turn Off and also toggle off the Overnight option.
