OnePlus Nord affordable smartphone to be available via Amazon India.

Oneplus new affordable smartphone is rumored to get launched on 10 July.It is speculated that Oneplus Nord will mark the re-entry of OnePlus in the budget segment.

Ahead of the launch, there have been a lot of rumours regarding smartphone’s name – some reports suggested it will be called OnePlus Z while some claimed it’s the OnePlus 8 Lite.

Now the company,revealed that the new budget smartphone will be called OnePlus Nord.As per company forum, a “more affordable smartphone product” is on its way. OnePlus has also asked its fans to keep an eye out for updates on a new Instagram account with the user handle: @onepluslitezthing.

Amazon India has created a landing page on its platform, confirming the arrival of smartphone. This also confirms that the phone will be available for purchase in India through Amazon.in.

As per rumours,the budget smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch OLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.The device will run on Android 10 and will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery.

The phone is expected to have a quad camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The fourth camera sensor could be a depth sensor or a color filter.

The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support. It is likely to offer 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

Oneplus Pods,company’s first truly wireless earbuds are also expected to get launched. The company is also hosting a launch event on 2nd July,where it will introduce the new affordable OnePlus TV series in the Indian market.

The pricing for the upcoming TV series has been confirmed to start under ₹20,000 (~$264).
