OnePlus Nord to get OxygenOS 11 Open Beta build next week; OnePlus 7/7T series to follow.

OnePlus launched Oneplus 8T with OxygenOS 11 out of the box. Oneplus even rolled out OxygenOS 11 for Oneplus 8 and 8Pro. Now, OnePlus has released a statement on the forum that provides an update on the timeline for eligible devices.

A post on the OnePlus Forums by Gary C., states that Oneplus Nord will be getting OxygenOS 11 Open Beta build first followed by Oneplus 7 and 7T series. Oneplus Nord will receive OxygenOS 11 Open Beta build next week.

OnePlus says it will release a staged roll-out, after receiving feedback from the open beta and fine-tuning the software. In the statement, oneplus also said that they are working parallelly to release OxygenOS 11 to all these devices at the same time.

OnePlus says that they have begun running a Closed Beta test with Qualcomm support for Oneplus 7 and 7T series following the data encryption issue they encountered recently when they tried to port Android 11 to the phones.

The schedule release of the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta build may vary for models purchased from different carrier partners. Oneplus still yet to reveal the details regarding OxygenOS 11 update for OnePlus 6/6T and Nord 10 5G/100.

OxygenOS 11, based on Android 11, is designed to provide a better user experience for a larger and more diverse audience. OxygenOS 11 brings a new user interface to eligible OnePlus devices.
