OnePlus Seeks Closed Beta Testers for OxygenOS 14 on Nord CE 3 Lite

OnePlus, the Tech Giant, is looking for users in Closed Beta Testing of OxygenOS 14 for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite users in India(Bharat). This will some community members to experience the upcoming OxygenOS 14 by actively giving feedback and suggestions about the update.

As of now, the company is only inviting Indian users who have the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and who are interested in taking part in the CBT program. The new software will have a hell of new features to test and this will be your change to experience the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14.

OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Program

For this program, OnePlus is looking to select 500 individuals who meet specific requirements. To be eligible, you must:

• Own a OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite India variant.
• Be an active member of the OnePlus Community.
• Be committed to regularly providing feedback and reporting issues or suggestions via the OnePlus Feedback APP.
• Be willing to actively engage in the CBT Telegram group for open communication with OnePlus team members and fellow testers.

Important Considerations

It’s important to note that participation in the Closed Beta Testing program may involve flashing builds that require a clean flash, resulting in data loss. The CBT version is still under development and should not be considered a stable build. Participants are advised to exercise patience, as instability and issues are to be expected during testing.

Furthermore, some third-party apps will not work with Android 14, which will cause app crashes and unresponsiveness. So you simply try to update those apps from the Google Play Store.

Participants must also adhere to strict confidentiality rules, refraining from sharing the CBT installation package or any internal beta-related content with individuals outside the project team.

Known Issues

During the OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Testing, the OnePlus team has identified several known issues that testers should be aware of, including:

• Screen flashes when switching between portrait and landscape modes while watching videos.
• Live wallpapers are not currently available in the Wallpapers window.
• AP band switches from 2.4GHz to 5GHz after cloning hotspot settings.
• Issues with edited recorded Reels Videos.
• Screen brightness lock not triggered in landscape games.
• Presence of Chinese text in the Shelf settings interface.
• Internet keeps stopping popup when clicking on the search option in the control panel.
• Animation flickers when tapping on the recent tab on the global search interface.

How to Apply

OnePlus has streamlined the application process for CBT recruitment, making it easier than ever for enthusiasts to join. Here’s how to apply:

1. Application Period: Applications are open from September 13 until the specified number of applications is reached.
2. Quota: Limited to 500 users.
3. Check Your Phone’s Version: Ensure your phone is updated to one of the following detectable versions:
   • CPH2467_13.1.0.573(EX01)
   • CPH2467_13.1.0.600(EX01)
   • CPH2467_13.1.0.610(EX01)
   • CPH2467_13.1.0.611(EX01)
4. Apply: Navigate to “Settings” > “About device” > “Tap up to date” > “Tap the icon on the top right” > “Beta program.” Follow the on-screen instructions to apply.
5. Build Rollout: The OnePlus team will review applications within 5 working days after the application channel is closed. Successful applicants will receive the new version within 3 workdays.
6. Downloading the Version: After your application is accepted, go to “Settings” > “About device” > “Download Now” to access the new version.
