OPPO First Smartwatch Launched In China,Looks Similar To Apple Watch

OPPO launched its first smartwatch in china which looks extremely similar to the Apple watch.

OPPO has now entered the smartwatch market with its launch of the first smartwatch in china, which looks extremely similar to the Apple watch.OPPO watch looks similar to the Apple watch design with curved glass, a square-ish screen, and integrated bands.

The OPPO watch has a square design which features a 1.91-inch 3D curved flexible AMOLED display with 402×473 resolution. It has 326 PPI and a 100% DCP-P3 color gamut. The watch comes with 28 watch faces, one can further customize it with its in-built special AI mode.

The OPPO Watch features a quad-optic heart rate sensor which keeps you updated on your heart’s health. The watch is waterproof up to 50m in water. The OPPO Watch comes with a Snapdragon chip as well as the Apollo3 low-power chip. Both chips are designed for longer battery life.

The OPPO Watch can last for 40 hrs in Smart Mode and up to 21 days in Low Power mode. The smartwatch can be charged from 1% to 50% in just 17 minutes with its VOOC charging technology.

OPPO watch also comes with eSIM support. This allows you to make and receive calls on the device as well as independently listen to music via your Bluetooth headphones. OPPO revealed that its watch comes with an anti-allergy fluoroelastomer strap but there are leather strap options as well.

OPPO Watch Variant and Price

There are three variants of the watch:-

  • 41mm Aluminum Alloy which comes in Black, White, and Pink and is priced at 1499 Yuan (~$216)
  • 46mm Aluminum Alloy which comes in Black, Cream and is priced at 1999 Yuan (~$289)
  • 46mm Stainless Steel which comes in Black and is priced at 2499 Yuan (~$361)
