Oppo Reno 3 Pro India Launch on March 2, With 44-Megapixel Selfie Camera

Oppo has announced the launch date of Reno 3 Pro and it will debut on March 2. The Reno 3 Pro has also been listed on Flipkart and Amazon ahead of the launch. Last year,in china Oppo launched Reno 3 Pro as a 5G phone.

However, the Indian model will support only up to 4G network. The phone includes a dual punch-hole camera setup and it will be world’s first phone to feature a 44-megapixel dual hole-punch camera setup.

The announcement was made by Oppo India in a tweet along with a promotional video starring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor. The tweet reads as  – “#OPPOReno3Pro with the World’s First 44MP #DualPunchHole Camera is coming to double the clarity in every shot. Ranbir Kapoor is ready to experience OPPO Reno3 Pro. Catch all the action unfold on 2nd March, 2020!”

The promotional video shows Ranbir Kapoor sort of playing with two water droplets that turn into two sensors that reside in the dual punch-hole setup. Out of the two sensors; one will be a 44-megapixel while the other one could be a 2-megapixel snapper. The China model has a single 32-megapixel camera on the front.

There will be some variations on the Indian variant of the Reno 3 Pro. First, there will be no 5G support ,the display will be flat as compared to the curved one in china variant ,processor will be Snapdragon 730G SoC.

There will be a quad-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 48-megapixel primary snapper, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle snapper, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 2-megapixel black and white sensor.

It could pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro will also run on ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. It will be powered by a 4025mAh battery with 30W charging.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro will go on sale via Amazon India and Flipkart as and when its availability is announced. The pricing of Oppo Reno 3Pro will be revealed on launch.
