OxygenOS 11.0.10.10 rolling out for Oneplus 8 Series with December Security patch.

Oneplus is rolling out new updates for its older phone like Oneplus 7 & 7T Series, Recently Oneplus rolled out a new update for Oneplus 7 & 7T Series which is OxygenOS 11.0.5.1 with the latest security patch of December, OxygenOS 11.0.5.1 also brings a fix to WhatsApp & stability improvements.

Also, Oneplus 9 & 9pro got a new Android 12 update which is OxygenOS 12 Stable C.39 update for Oneplus 9 Series users.

And Now Oneplus 8 & 8T Series getting a new update which could be the final Android 11 update for Oneplus 8 & 8T Series.

• Optimized the UI display of Settings interface
• Fixed the issue that Google Assistant and Gpay doesn’t display as expected in the Setup Wizard
• Fixed the low probability issue of WhatsApp crash
• Updated Android security patch to 2021.12

As you can see, the changelog is pretty short, indicating that this isn’t a significant update and is mainly a fix to some issues. The security patch is from December 2021, which is slightly disappointing since we’re already approaching January 2022. If you’re facing these issues on your Oneplus 8 & 8T Series, we recommend updating your phone to the latest release.

As usual, the OTA update should be available to you in the next few days. The roll-out is generally carried out in a phased manner, so if you haven’t received the update notification yet, you can either wait for it or download the zip from the links below and flash it manually.
