OxygenOS Open Beta 1 Update For OnePlus 7T/7T Pro With Live Caption Support

Oneplus has rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 1 update for Oneplus7T and Oneplus 7T Pro with live caption support.

Oneplus has rolled out its first open beta update for Oneplus7T and Oneplus 7T Pro.The update brings Live Caption feature,February 2020 Android Security patch and other system optimisations.

The update size for OnePlus 7T is 2.28GB while for OnePlus 7T Pro it is 2.32GB in size. Download files are available on the official OnePlus support forum.Select phone-specific zip file and use the Local upgrade method to switch from the stable channel to Open Beta.Internal data will not be cleared out in this process but reverting back to the stable builds will lead to a wipe, so do perform a backup.

The changelog for the OxygenOS Open Beta 1 update for the OnePlus 7T and Oneplus 7T Pro:

System

• Optimized RAM management
• Enhanced single and double-tap performance of Ambient display and lock screen
• Improved content now live on settings page
• Updated Android Security patch to 2020.02

Live Caption

• Added live caption feature, this will detect speech in media and automatically generates captions (to enable: Settings-System-AccessibIlity-Live Caption)

Phone

• Enhanced the contact details screen

Gallery

• Fixed the audio and video issues with preloading videos

The most important feature in this update is the Live Caption feature which shows captions in real-time and detects speech in media files.To enable Live Caption feature on Oneplus 7T and Oneplus 7T Pro, go to Settings>System>Accessibility>Live Caption.
